Real Thai Conversations ("the app") is developed by Kritsana Saenghirun. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled. The short version: we don't want your data. The app has no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind.
Your learning progress — completed lessons, scores, XP, coins, streaks, settings, and recordings you make of your own voice for practice playback — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us. Deleting the app deletes this data.
When you use speaking practice or pronunciation scoring, your speech is processed to give you a score and feedback:
The microphone is only active when you tap a record or speak button.
When you chat or talk with the AI teacher, the text (and, for voice conversation, audio) of your practice conversation is sent to AI service providers — OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and Microsoft Azure (speech synthesis and translation) — solely to generate the teacher's responses. These conversations are not linked to your identity by the app; the app sends no name, email, or account identifier, because none exists.
Subscriptions and purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
